Lauri is a former musician and composer, but started his activity as an entrepreneur in entertainment immediately after the restoration of Estonian independence in 1991 and has been in it for almost 30 years. He was one of the first in the Baltics to start organizing concerts of great artists – the first giant concerts he organized were historical – Michael Jackson in 1997, The Rolling Stones in 1998, Tina Turner in 2000 and many others – he has organized hundreds of concerts all over the Baltics, but also in Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Russia, Finland. He has been involved in a very wide range of entertainment, created the first major live music and disco clubs in Estonia, built the first largest commercial radio network in the country, has also produced the popular TV show Fizz Superstar, which was the first pan Baltic TV competition for young singers, managed artists and is still a music producer – participated in and directed the creation of more than 10 successful artist albums. He was also the founder of Piletilevi (now Baltic Tickets Holding), the largest ticket sales company in the Baltics today (Bilietai in Lithuania). Last year Lauri started a new global project, creating an innovative arena concept that will be located in nature. The plan is to present it to the world at the Dubai EXPO 2021.
“Thanks” to the virus pandemic, he now finally has time to dedicate himself to his own music – Lauri records his first solo album in his home studio with musicians from many different nationalities and countries.
