Love’n’Joy’s sound draws influences from Brit-Pop, 60s and 70s Psychedelia and elements of Indie Rock. Plenty of heavy guitars are giving their sound a rougher edge, and the strong, contemporary lyrics reflect the spirit of a new, resurgent Ukrainian culture.
Since May 2022, the band has been touring to raise money for its campaign “Musicians Defend Ukraine”. The band has performed over 80 concerts across Europe and the UK, and has beeninterviewed by BBC UK, Rolling Stone US, KEXP, WDR Rockpalast, TAZ, and many others.
