OKATA – four artists living in music and rhythm, combining old traditions with modern approach, seeking for identity through cultural research and contemporary sound. Mixing motives folk music with beatbox, different genres of electronic music, polyrhythms, OKATA creates distinctive and deep interpretations.

Group members Kotryna Čereškevičiūtė, Kristina Mažeikaitė, Justė Kraujelytė are professional singers, participants of lithuanian tv shows. Vocalists have huge experience performing with famous lithuanian music groups and artists. These singers are familiar with all musical styles and create unique sound of voices. Last member Žygimantas Gudelis a.k.a. GON is a professional beatboxer and live looping artist. After becoming lithuanian beatbox champion and beatboxer of the year GON demonstrates his musical skills in international competitions. Combining vocal percussion with loop pedals and effects artist makes intricately layered live shows that sound electronic.
