“Illume” is an alternative jazz-rock band that enchants with its unique fusion of jazz and rock music. Their music is an all-encompassing journey that seamlessly blends elements of alternative music with contemporary jazz genres. Four well-known Lithuanian jazz artists play in the collective – Tuomas J. Räsänen (drums, synthesizer and vocals), Gina Kazlauskaitė (vocals), Deimantas Balys (electric guitar), and Gabrielius Rimeika (bass guitar and double bass).
In 2024 spring, the band released their debut album called “Bus Ride”. This album promises to be a musical discovery on the Lithuanian music scene, offering listeners an immersive experience. “Bus Ride” is available on all major listening platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deeer and Pakartot.lt. The band’s sound has been compared to foreign bands such as Hiatus Kayote, Flying Lotus and Moonchild.
